Gilberdyke Parish Council is a group of local people dedicated to its local community, and improving the lives of those who live in the village. Councillors make decisions on behalf of the people in the parish and is the level government closest to the community.
As it is the authority closest to the people, we want Gilberdyke Parish Council to be seen as the first place people will go with concerns or ideas.
As Parish Councillors we want to be the people our community will look to for help, guidance and support – we will use our positions to influence decisions for the benefit of the people we serve.
Seeing our community change for the better, as a result of decisions we have helped make, is something that we strive to achieve and give everyone a sense of achievement and pride.
